a wise word to all westham fans going thursday.
i think this might be another palermo, its wise to stick together, if you go walkabout in westham shirts on your own or in small groups you might find it risky, the local police dont want our ob to travel, i smell a rat, no witness if local plod try open season on wesham fans.

Re: a wise word to all westham fans going thursday.
If the parents have made the decision to keep it low key then wouldn't they have a whip privately, stump up the £10k and move on?

Its a great gesture to have a fund, but in this context surely it should be a fighting fund to get innocent fans justice, along with the family lobbying MP's etc to get them home?

Yea, stitch up job no point running to the press they hate West Ham fans. Pay the fine and get them home

Get our press involved? The scum cunts will be more worried about going through their Twitter accounts to see if they posted something that might have upset someone 10 years ago. No wonder the parents want to keep it low key.

I'll donate later, help get these lads home asap. Could have been any of us.

Are Croatia in the EU (been so-o-o-o-o-o-o fucking long since we were I don't know who's in and who's out any more).

Maybe spinning this as EU Brexit spite handed down on high from Ursula-la might help.

The media should be involved for sure, they were for the Scouse bloke in 2005.

That said, the media may use these lads to create a sensationalist story and paint them negatively. I trust journalists as much as I do politicians, they're scumbags for the most part.

I doubt the likes of talksport would be interested, they wont want to get involved with anything that relates to disorder at football, even if they are innocent

You need the media on this, Talksport, Local MPs if they are not guilty.

I haven't read all of this thread, but what are they being accused of exactly?

The parents still want to keep this low key at the moment, they want to protect the boys.

They need help raising as much money as possible to pay the legal fees in Croatia.

I would assume they will go guilty in order to get home.

Contact talksport and the newspapers.

Re: a wise word to all westham fans going thursday.
I'd agree with the comments below Epsom, get every one of the parents to email their MP with details of the case and what's happening and ask for them to take this up urgently with the Foreign Office. Then the parents need to phone the office number of the MPs until they speak to one of their staff. People are rightly sceptical about MPs but in circumstances like this they can often be very useful.
